The opportunity
  • Lead the adult safeguarding portfolio, driving best practice in incident and complaints management across diverse service areas.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards, supporting strong governance and regulatory outcomes.
  • Champion a trauma-informed, client-centred approach to feedback and complaint systems that reflect the needs of children, families, and older Australians.
  • Promote a culture of transparency and continuous improvement, working closely with the Child Safeguarding Specialist to embed cohesive safeguarding practices.
 
About you
  • Demonstrated experience in incident and complaints management. This would be highly regarded if within the social services, disability, aged care or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission requirements and adult safeguarding principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead investigations and manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, health, or related fields highly regarded.
