The opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to shape and scale educational excellence and child safeguarding in a high-growth environment.
 
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Pedagogy, Quality and Safety will:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a research-informed, signature curriculum aligned to EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQS
  • Mentor and build the capability of educational leaders across all centres through training and collaborative practice
  • Oversee compliance and safeguarding systems including child protection, risk assessments, and wellbeing frameworks
  • Champion evidence-based practice and foster continuous improvement through innovation and reflective pedagogy
 
About you

You are a values-driven leader with deep expertise in early childhood education and the confidence to uphold high standards—even when it’s not easy. You lead with integrity, communicate with clarity, and act in the best interests of children, always. You bring:
  • Recognised expertise in early childhood education with tertiary qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of VEYLDF, NQS, and Victorian ECE regulations
  • Courage and principles—you are willing to speak up and stand firm on quality and safety, and you are trusted by peers and teams for your fairness, transparency, and ethical leadership
  • Experience mentoring and influencing educators and educational leaders
  • Strategic thinking with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
