The opportunity
Minimbah is seeking a dedicated and proactive Chief Executive Officer & General Manager to lead our business with a strong participant-first approach.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully hands-on executive role where you will:
- Report to the Board and lead the organisation across all aspects of our operations, compliance, financial and strategic planning
- Provide leadership that champions a person-centred, inclusive culture aligned with our values
- Support families and carers while ensuring participants receive exceptional services
- Manage day-to-day business functions, including HR, WHS, risk, finance, and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and all relevant regulatory frameworks
- Represent Minimbah in government, sector and community forums, fostering strategic relationships
- Oversee the physical site and assets, including facility and fleet management
About you
You are a hands-on, compassionate leader with empathy for people with disabilities and a commitment to social justice and operational excellence.
You will have:
- Proven experience leading a service-based or disability support business
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and government-regulated environments
- Demonstrated financial literacy (budgeting, forecasting, analysis)
- Deep operational expertise including compliance, WHS and HR
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- A history of identifying training and development needs and leading the implementation of programmes to ensure staff have the required skills for their roles.
- The ability to thrive in an unpredictable operating environment and respond effectively to a changing regulatory environment
- Good IT literacy including NDIS systems and oversight of internal IT infrastructure
- NDIS Worker Clearance, or the ability to qualify for it
