The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Sales as the BDM HomeCare, NDIS & Retirement Living you will:
- Drive sales of BESTMED Home Care software, services and hardware into retirement living, home care, and NDIS markets;
- Proactively generate leads building new relationships translating these into new customers ensuring a constant pipeline of well-qualified leads;
- Engage industry and leverage existing BESTMED networks and knowledge, identifying opportunities for sales to build revenue growth;
- Develop and implement customised go-to-market strategies for new home care clients, collaborating with marketing and internal stakeholders to ensure market alignment;
- Build and manage relationships with key client decision-makers face to face; and
- Monitor and report market trends, competitor activity and industry changes to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
For this appointment, you will be an experienced BDM with the following skills:
- Proven expertise as a proactive ‘hunter’ of sales, with at least 7 years of sales, preferably with experience in selling software for aged care or health and/or medical equipment / telecommunications;
- An exemplary sales record of consistently exceeding targets and providing service excellence;
- Strong strategic sales skills; able to translate strategy into an actionable sales plan with proven new client acquisition and territory growth results within a short timeframe;
- Strong innovative and creative solutions thinker with the ability to simplify the complex;
- A self-starter with a growth mindset and strong accountability;
- Superior communications, negotiation and stakeholder management capability;
- Demonstrable ability to analyse market trends and keep ahead of competitors in the development of customised customer solutions;
- Ability to travel nationally as required;
- Existing sector wide c-level relationships
